| SMS staff will welcome students back for the 22-23 school year on Tuesday, September 6 from 9:00-11:50 AM. School buses will run accordingly. The first full day of classes will be Wednesday, September 7. Emails about which class students are in will be sent out by the end of the day on Friday, September 2, once final adjustments and additions to classes have been made. Please be sure to check your email.

| Q. Are staff/students required to quarantine or otherwise stay away from school following return from international travel? Does the 14 day exclusion from school still apply?
Some students must wait 14 days before returning to school – see below.
Health Canada can be contacted at 1-833-784-4397. - Fully vaccinated students can return to school without delay. No mask required.
- Unvaccinated students aged 5 through 11 years old travelling with fully vaccinated adults can return to school without delay – however they are required to wear a mask for 14 days in all public settings (including schools).
- Unvaccinated students 12 or older must quarantine for 14 days upon arrival.
- Students who cross international borders due to custody arrangements can return to school without delay.

We have an additional 25 books to pre-sell on a first-come-first-served basis starting on Monday, June 21 with Ms. T. King in portable 36 at 8:15 AM. These books will sell for $50 cash only (no cheques, please). Since schools are still under COVID protocols, we will not be signing books in person, but will use the Jostens Online Tool which can be accessed at https://yearbooksigning.jostens.com/home. We encourage you not to give out your yearbook to have it signed. The school is not responsible for any problems that arise with inappropriate comments, postings, or damage to the yearbook.
