New for 2025–2026! This year, every SMS student-athlete will be able to purchase a custom SMS warm-up shirt and string bag for $20, if they did not receive one last year. We’ve also capped athletic fees at $80 total, so students can join as many sports as they like without paying extra—making it easier than ever to get involved and show your school spirit!

Welcome to SMS Athletics.  Here you'll find practice schedules and links to game schedules for most teams. Game schedules will be updated below for the Ultimate, Track and Field and Archery seasons this spring. Grade 6 teams are typically not on a School District schedule and will be listed below, once game schedules are built.  

General Information:

• Fall Sports generally run from the early September to early-November
• Winter Sports generally run from mid-November to February- sign up dates and locations, as well as practice times, will be advertised in the daily announcements and in Messenger emails.  As of October, these dates and events can be found here, as well as in the monthly Stinger Buzz Newsletter. No games dates have been set yet for Basketball
• Extended Winter Sports generally run from the end of January to mid-March
• Spring Sports run from April to June
